HomeMy WebLinkAbout2000-196 BY-LAW NO. 2000- 196 Being a by-law to authorize the sale and transfer to the Regional Municipality of Durham of a perpetual sanitary sewer easement in Parts 11 and 15 on Reference Plan l OR2532 WHEREAS Council at its meeting of May 29, 2000 passed By-law 2000-73 and declared the portion of Hunt Street more particularly described as Part 7, Plan 1OR2532 to be surplus AND WHEREAS Council at its meeting of October 2, 2000 approved the recommendations in Addendum to Report WD-25-00 respecting the transfer of a perpetual sanitary sewer easement to the Regional Municipality of Durham in Parts 11 and 15 on Reference Plan l OR2532 NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1 THAT the transfer for a nominal consideration to the Regional Municipality of Durham of a perpetual easement in the lands more particularly described as Parts 11 and 15 on Reference Plan l OR2532 for the purposes of constructing, operating, maintaining and repairing thereon a sanitary sewer is hereby approved. 2• THAT the Mayor and Clerk are authorized on behalf of the Municipality to execute and deliver the transfer.
