BY-LAW NUMBER 2000-�1
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-
law for the former Town of Newcastle
WHEREAS, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it advisable to amend
By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Corporation of the former Town of Newcastle to implement ZBA 2000-
011;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington enacts as follows:
1. Section "12" "Urban Residential Type One (Rl)" zone is hereby amended by adding thereto the
following new Special Exception 12.4.52 as follows:
"12.4.52 URBAN RESIDENTIAL EXCEPTION(R1-52)ZONE
Notwithstanding Section 12.2, the lands zoned R1-52 on the attached Schedule "A" shall be subject
to the following zone regulations:
Yard Requirements(minimum)
Front Yard Setback 3 metres
For the purposes of this subsection the aforementioned yard requirement shall only apply to the
single family dwelling existing prior to July 10,2000.
2. Schedule "4" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone
designation from:
"Agricultural(A)Zone"to"Urban Residential Exception(R1-52)Zone"
"Agricultural(A)Zone"to"Urban Residential Type One(RI)Zone".
3. Schedule"A"attached hereto shall form part of the By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing hereof, subject to the provisions of
Section 34 of the Planning Act.

BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 10th day of July 2000.
