THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NUMBER 2000- 23
Being a By-law to assume certain streets within the
Municipality of Clarington as public highways in the
Municipality of Clarington.
NOW THEREFORE, the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington
enacts as follows:
1. THAT the lands described as Block 230, Plan 1OM-826, in the
Municipality of Clarington, Regional Municipality of Durham, are
hereby established, laid out, dedicated as public highway and assumed
by the said Corporation for public use.
2. THAT the streets shown on Plan 1OM-826 and listed below in this
section, all being in the Municipality of Clarington, in the Regional
Municipality of Durham, are hereby accepted by the Corporation of the
Municipality of Clarington as public highways, and assumed by the
said Corporation for public use:
Islay Court
Jura Court
Part of George Reynolds Drive lying east of the line extending from
the south west corner of Lot 67 to the north west corner of Lot 91,
Plan 1OM-826, and west of the line extending from the north west
corner of Block 230 to the south west corner of Block 230, Plan
l OM-826.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 21"day of February,2000.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 21St day of February,2000.

RE: REGISTRATION OF BY-LAWS NO. 2000-23 & 2000-24.
I attach, herewith, certified copies of the above referenced by-laws which were sent to
Rhonda Bishop, our Court Services Agent for registration. She advises she was unable
to register these by-laws because the description of the portion of road affected by the
by-law requires a reference plan.
Could we please rectify this matter.

This is further to my attendance at the Whitby Registry Office on March 14, 2000.
Please find attached two copies of the following document:
1. By-law 2000-21 registered as Instrument LT946831.
I was unable to register By-laws 2000-23 and 2000-24 because the description of the
portion of road affected by the By-law requires a reference plan.
I will speak to Norm Clark about the requirement for a reference plan but I am returning
the unregistered By-laws to you-
