BY-LAW NO. 98-75
being a by-law to amend By-law No. 97-77, a By-law to provide for the
registration of a primary dwelling unit having an Apartment-in-House
WHEREAS Council of the Municipality of Clarington passed an amending Zoning
By-law to regulate Apartments-in-Houses;
AND WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. M45, as amended, authorizes
the Municipality to pass by-laws providing for the registration of Apartments-in-
Houses;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Clarington passed By-law No.
97-77 on April 28`h, 1997 to require registration of Apartments-in-Houses;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Municipality of Clarington deems it appropriate
to amend said by-law to allow for an extension;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows:
1. That By-law 97-77 is hereby amended by deleting the words "April 28,
1998" from paragraph 4.2 (iv) and substituting the words "June 30, 1998".
2. This By-law shall come into force and effect on the date of the passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 207.3 of the Municipal Act,
R.S.O. 1990 c. M45.
BY-LAW read a first time this 11th day of May 1998.
BY-LAW read a second time this 11th day of May 1998.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 11th day of May 1998.
