HomeMy WebLinkAbout98-145 THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON BY-LAW NUMBER 98-145 being a By-law to designate a certain portion of Registered Plan 40M-1779 as not being subject to Part Lot Control. WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington deems it advisable to exempt from Part Lot Control, Block 38 on Plan 40M-1779 registered at the Land Titles Division of Whitby. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington enacts as follows: 1. THAT Subsection (5) of Section 50 of the Planning Act shall not apply to those lands described in Paragraph 2 within the By-law. 2. THAT this By-law shall come into effect upon being approved by the Regional Municipality of Durham and thereafter Subsection (5) of Section 50 shall cease to apply to the following lands: a) Block 38 on Registered Plan 40M-1779. 3. Pursuant to Subsection 7 of Section 50 of the Planning Act, this By-law shall be in force for a period of one (1) years ending on September 28, 1999. BY-LAW read a first time this 28th day of September 1998. BY-LAW read a second time this 28th day of September 1998. BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 28th day of September 1998. Bishop Court Services Agent Subject: Document Registration This is further to my attendance at the Whitby Registry Office on October 21, 1998. Please find attached one copy of By-law 98-145 exempting Block 38, Plan 40M-1779 from part lot control. The By-iaw was registered as Instrument LT873564. I am also enclosing five blank Document Generals for your signature. I spoke to Patti Barrie on October 20 and requested her permission to have five Document Generals from each of you available so that an extra trip is not required to obtain your signature prior to a registration. I intend to use these only in instances where I have no other reason to attend your office except to obtain a signature. I have numbered each Document General in the top.left corner in red ink so that we can keep track of each of the blank forms, for security and as a precaution.
