BY-LAW 97-7
being a by-law to authorize execution of an
agreement with the Regional Municipality of
Durham respecting the enforcement of by-laws
where offences are committed on Regional roads
within the municipality
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington has adopted the recommendations contained within the
Solicitor' s correspondence dated December 20, 1996 respecting the
enforcement of by-laws where offences are committed on Regional
roads within the municipality;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality
of Clarington hereby enacts as follows :
1 . THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute,
on behalf of the Corporation of the Municipality of
Clarington and seal with the Corporation' s seal, an
agreement between the Regional Municipality of Durham and
the Municipality.
2 . THAT the agreement attached hereto as Schedule "A" forms
part of this by-law.
By-law read a first and second time this 13th day of January
1997.
. By-law read a third time and finally passed this 13th day of
January 1996 .
