BY-LAW NO. 96-122
being a by-law to establish, layout, open and dedicate
the extension of Maple Street as public highway
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle did
by By-law 75-88 amend Zoning By-law 2111 and assume and dedicate
Maple Street as a Class 'A' Public Street;
WHEREAS Council, at its meeting of July 17, 1995, passed By-law 95-
107 authorizing an agreement between Wolfgang Hryciuk and the
Municipality of Clarington to construct an extension of Maple
Street, shown as Part I , Plan 40R-16950 in Haydon, for
approximately 210 metres (689 ft . ) , north of the existing Maple
Street;
WHEREAS Wolfgang Hryciuk has entered into the agreement authorized
by By-law 95-107 and has satisfied the conditions of said agreement
to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works;
WHEREAS notice of the Public Meeting to be held by Council
announcing the intention to pass this By-law to extend Maple Street
was advertised in the local newspaper on May 29, June 5, 12, 19,
1996;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Municipality of Clarington ENACTS
the following:
Maple Street shown as Parts I Plan 40R-16950 , is hereby
established, layed out, open and dedicated as Public Highway.
BY-LAW read a first and second time this 24th day of June, 1996 .
BY-LAW read a third and final time and passed on this 24th day of
June, 1996 .
