BY-LAW 95-4
Being a By-law to appoint Fence Viewers for the
Municipality of Clarington and to repeal By-law
94-8 .
WHEREAS Section 2 of the Line Fences Act Chapter L. 17, R. S.O. ,
1990, provides that the Council of every local municipality shall,
by by-law, appoint such number of Fence Viewers as are required to
carry out the provisions of the Act and the by-law shall fix the
per diem remuneration to be paid to the Fence Viewers;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
CLARINGTON ENACTS AS FOLLOWS :
1 . THAT the following persons are hereby appointed as Fence
Viewers for the Municipality of Clarington for a term
concurrent with the term of the appointing Council or
until a successor is appointed:
Joe Christl Sr. , 1305 Trulls Road S. , Courtice, L1E 2S4
Danielle J. Craggs, 12 Soper Creek Drive, Bowmanville, L1C 4G1
Glenn Stapleton, 2200 Stapleton Road,R.R.#8, Newcastle,L1B 1L0
John M. Stewart, 9 Heritage Lane, Newcastle, L1B 1A4
2 . THAT the remuneration of the Fence Viewers be set in
accordance with the budget allocations approved by
Council for this purpose.
3 . THAT By-law 94-8 is hereby repealed.
By-law read a first and second time this 16th day of January, 1995 .
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 16th day of
January, 1995 .
