THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law No. 79-45
Being a by-law to provide for the payment of
an expense allowance to the Mayor and Members
of Council.
PURSUANT to the Municipal Act,R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 284, Section 389,
the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle HEREBY ENACTS as
follows: -
1) That the members of Council be paid an allowance for
automobile mileage and expenses associated with Town
business Council and Commitee and other meetings re-
quired by Council at a rate in conformity with Coun-
ci1 Policy at any given time.
2) The provision of the By-law to be in force at the date
of passing.
READ a first and second time this 23rd day of May, 1979.
READ a third time and finally passed this 23rd day of May, 1979.
