being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-law for the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle 'recommends to the Region of
Durham for approval of Otr1clal Plan Amendment 90-0 15IN.
AND WHEREAS Durham Regional Council on May 16, 1990 approved Official Plan Amendment
application 90-0loIN as a modification to the Haydon Secondary Plan as contained within the Town
of Newcastle OtrlCial Plan and have recommended to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs approval of same.

AND WHEREAS said by-law is passed pursuant to Section 24(2) of the Planning Act, whereby it would
not come into effect until such time' as the related Official Plan Amendment has received Ministerial
approval.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to amend
By-law 84-63, as amended, of the Town of Newcastle to implement the related Official Plan
Amendment.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the COWlcil of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "11" to By-law 84-63 as amended, is hereby further amended by changing the zone
designation from:
"Agricultural Exception (A-l)"_ to "Holding - Residential Hamlet ((H)RH)"
2. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the pas~iDg hereof, subject to the provisions
of Section 84 of the Planping Act.
BY-LAW read a first time this 25 day of June 1990.
BY-LAW read a second time this 25 day of June 1990.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 25 day of June 1990.
