HomeMy WebLinkAbout88-34 DN: LEVIES '"'t THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW NUMBER 88- 34 REPEALED BY BY.LA W ,.~:[.:).~~ .'" being a By-law to amend By-law No. 83-22, as amended, A By-law to revise the scale of development charges for the Town of Newcastle. WHEREAS By-law 83-22, as amended, of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle established a scale of development charges; AND WHEREAS pursuant to the provisions of By-law No. 83-22, as amended, the Town is to review annually the Schedule of Development Charges; AND WHERE&S as a result of such review the Council of the Town of Newcastle deems it advisable to revise its Schedule of Development Charges; NOW THEREFORE the Oouncil of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby enacts as follows: 1. paragraph 1.1 of Schedule "A" to By-law 83-22, as amended, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following new paragraph 1.1: "1.1 On land severances, plans of subdivision, condominium applications, and rezonings for residential development in the urban areas of Bowmanville, Courtice and Newcastle village, the following charges are payable: LoW Density residential developments (including single and semi-detached dwellings and duplex dwellings) $2,725.00 per unit Medium Density residential developments (including townhousing and mobile home units) $2,725.00 per unit High Density residential developments (including all types of apartment units)" $1,730.00 per unit 2. par ag r aph 1. 2 of Schedule "A" to By-law 8 3- 22, as amended, is hereby deleted in its entirety and replaced with the following new paragraph 1.2. "1.2 On land severances, plans of subdivisions, condominium applications and rezoning for residential development in all areas of the Town, not specified by paragraph 1.1 above, the following charges are payable: Low Density residential developments (including single and semi-detached dwellings and duplex dwellings) $1,860.00 per unit Medium Density residential developments (including townhousing and mobile home units) $1,860.00 per unit High Density residential developments (including all types of apartment units)" $1,195.00 per unit - ...' ".-+ - 2 - 3. The provisions of this By-law shall take effect on the date of passing hereof.
