THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NE.WCASTLE
BY-LAW 87-159
BEING a By-LaW of the COrporation of the Town of Newcastle
to appoint a Tax COllector
THE MUNICIPAL COuncil of the corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby,
ENAcrS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Jean Jones is hereby appointed Tax Collector to the
Town of Newcastle during the pleasure of COuncil;
2. That Jean Jones shall be paid for her services such sum annually
in accordance with the terms and conditions as set out in schedule
"A" attached hereto.
3. That By-law 81-148 is repealed effective from 4:30 p.m.,
September 30, 1987.

Schedule "A"
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT OF JEAN JONES
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment of Ms. Jean
Jones as Tax Collector for the Town of Newcastle, namely:
1. Effective October 1, 1987, Ms. Jean Jones shall commence employment
with the COrporation of the Town of Newcastle as Tax Collector.
2. The duties and responsibility of the Tax Collector are those
established by By-law No. 81-147 as may be amended from time to
time.
3. Jean Jones shall be remunerated in accordance with the Town's
policy in respect to the compensation for non-affiliated staff
and more specifically shall be paid at a salary Grade 10 Start
Rate.
4. Jean Jones shall be immediately entitled to all employee benefits
enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be determined
from time to time.
