THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 87- 124
being a by-law to repeal the Hawkers and
Pedlars by-laws of the Town of Newcastlels
predecessor municipalities: former Town
of Bowmanville, former Village of Newcastle,
former Township of Darlington, former
Township of Clarke
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to repeal certain by-laws of its predecessor municipalities.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL Of THE CORPORATION Of THE TOWN Of NEWCASTLE HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following by-laws shall be and are hereby repealed.
(a) FORMER TOWN OF BOWMANVILLE BY-LAW 69-33;
(b) FORMER VILLAGE OF NEWCASTLE BY-LAW 730;
( c) FORMER TOWNSH I P OF DARLI NGTON BY-LAW 2273;
(d) FORMER TOWNSHIP OF CLARKE BY-LAW 1704.
2. Hawkers and Pedlars Licences issued pursuant to the By-laws recited
in Section 1 above, shall be valid until December 31st 1987.
By-law read a first and second time this 22nd day of June 1987
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 22nd day of June 1987
