THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 89-...202
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, the Comprehensive Zoning By-
law for the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
deems it advisable to amend By-law 84-63, as amended, of the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle in consideration of the
application DEV 89-65;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation
of the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 11.3 "Special Exception - Residential Shoreline (RS)"
zone of By-law 84-63, as amended, is hereby further amended by
adding thereto the following new Subsection 11.3.3 as follows:
11.3.3 Residential Shoreline Exception (RS-3) Zone
Notwithstanding Section 11.2 those lands zoned "RS-3" on the
Schedules to this By-law shall be subject to the following zone
regulations:

Lot Area (minimum)
Lot Frontage (minimum)
800 square metres

c) Yard Requirements
i) Front yard
ii) Interior Sideyard
iii) Rearyard
9 metres
1.2 metres
34 metres
d) Ground Floor Area (maximum) 97.5 square metres
e) Minimum elevation of any door, window,
or other structural opening 78.3 metres (C.G.D.)
2. Schedule" 3" to By-law 84-63, as amended is hereby further
amended by changing the zone designation from "Residential
Shoreline Exception (RS-1)" to "Residential Shoreline Exception
(RS-3)" as shown on the attached Schedule "A" hereto.
3. Schedule "A" attached hereto shall form part of this By-law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning
Act.
