THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 94-197
being a by-law to repeal By-law #91-201, as amended, and to establish
the Members of Council as Chairmen of Departments and to establish the
Order of Proceedings at the General Purpose and Administration
Committee Meetings
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT the following Members of Council of the Municipality of Clarington be
designated as the Chairman of a Department as follows:
(a) Planning and Development Department - Ann Dreslinski
(b) Clerk's Department - Pat Ping Ie
(c) Treasury Department - Mary Novak
(d) Fire Department - David Scott
(e) Community Services Department - Larry Hannah
(1) Public Works Department - John O'Toole
(g) Administration - Diane Hamre
2. THAT the Chairmanship of the General Purpose and Administration Committee
Meeting pass from Member of Council to Member of Council in the order detailed
in the preceding section;
3. THAT the rotation established in Section 1 remain in effect for the term of Council;
4. THAT By-law 91-201, as amended, is hereby repealed; and
5. THAT this by-law take effect immediately on the passing thereof.
By-law read a first and second time this 5th day of December 1994.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 5th day of December 1994.
