THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
By-Law 93-39
BEING A BY-LAW TO APPOINT A DEPUTY TREASURER
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Nancy Taylor is hereby appointed Deputy Treasurer
of the Town of Newcastle, effective 8:30 a.m., March 22, 1993.
2. THAT the said appointment be in accordance with the terms and
conditions set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.
3. THAT By-law 89-62 be rescinded.
By-law read a first and second time this 8th day of March, 1993.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 8th day of March,
1993.

Schedule "A" to By-law 93-39
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THE APPOINTMENT OF NANCY TAYLOR AS THE
DEPUTY TREASURER FOR THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
The following shall be the terms and conditions of the employment
of Nancy Taylor as the Deputy Treasurer of the Town of Newcastle,
namely:
1. Effective 8:30 a.m. on March 22, 1993, Nancy Taylor shall
commence her employment as Deputy Treasurer of the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Treasurer shall
be in accordance with By-law 86-4 as may be amended from time
to time and other similar duties as may be assigned from time
to time;
3. Nancy Taylor shall be remunerated at Level 14, Step 4 of the
Salary Administration Program of the Town for non-affiliated
staff, subject to any adjustments approved by Council;
4. Nancy Taylor shall be entitled to all other employee benefits
for non-affiliated staff as may be determined from time to
time;
5. The employment of Nancy Taylor shall be subject to a twelve
working month probationary period at the expiry of which her
performance shall be evaluated by the Chief Administrative
Officer in conjunction with the Treasurer.
Nancy
