THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 92-175
being a by-law to amend By-law 92-41, a by-law
to stop-up and close and authorize the sale of
part of the unopened road allowance between Lots
26 & 27, Concession 1, Village of Newcastle,
former Township of Clarke, now in the Town of
Newcastle Part 1, 10R-4074
WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to amend By-law 92-41;
NOW THEREFORE THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE HEREBY
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
THAT By-law 92-41 be amended by deleting the name "806628 Ontario
Ltd." and replacing it with: "806628 Ontario Inc."
By-law read a first and second time this 13th day of July 1992
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 13th day of
July 1992

being a by-law to stop up and close arid
authorize the sale of part of the unopened
road allowance between Lots 26 & 27,
Concession 1, Village of Newcastle, Township
of Clarke, now in the Town of Newcastle
Part 1, 10R-4074
WHEREAS the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
desirable to stop up and close a part of the road allowance
between Lots 26 and 27, Concession 1, Village of Newcastle, and
authorizes the sale of said road allowance described as Part 1,
Plan 10R-4074 to the abutting property owners 806628 Ontario Ltd,
in accordance with the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, c.302, s.3l6.
WHEREAS notice of the intention of Council to pass this by-law
was sen~ to the Regional Municipality of Durham on the 24th day
of January, 1992, and the Regional Municipality of Durham granted
approval of the proposed by-law by letter dated the 30th day of
January '1992.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW
OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Part of that portion of the road allowance comprising all
and singular that certain parcel and tract of land and
premises, lying and being in the Town of Newcastle, in the
Regional Municipality of Durham, Province of Ontario, and
being composed of part of the road allowance between Lots 26
and 27, Concession 1, Village of Newcastle, Township of
Clarke, more specifically described as Part 1 on Plan 10R-
4074 deposited in the Land Registry Office for the Registry
Division of Newcastle (No.lO) on September 16, 1991, is
hereby stopped up and closed.
2. The portion of the closed road referred to in Section 1, is
hereby authorized to be conveyed by the Corporation of the
Town of Newcastle to 806628 Ontario Ltd.
By-law read a first time this 10th day of February, 1992.
By-law read a second time this 10th day of February, 1992.
