THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 85- 46
being a By-law to amend By-law 84-63, Comprehensive Zoning By-law
of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend By-law 84-63 of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Council of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. By-law 84-150 of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle is
hereby repealed.
2. Section 6.4 of By-law 84-63 is hereby amended by adding thereto
the following new Subsection 6.4.20 as follows:
"6.4.20 AGRICULTURAL EXCEPTION (A-20) ZONE
Notwithstanding Section 6.1, those lands zoned A-20 on the
Schedules to this By-law shall only be used for conservation
and forestry uses ".
3. Schedule 2 of By-law 84-63 is hereby amended as follows:
a. by deleting the "(H)A" zone classification of Part of Lots
2 and 3, Broken Front Concession, geographic Township of
Clarke as shown on Schedule "X" hereto and replacing same
with an IA-20" zone classification.
4. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of passing
hereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of the Planning Act.
