THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 85 - 33
being a by-law to appoint a Director of Community Services
THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
1. That JAN DEVANTIER is hereby appointed "Director of
Community Services" for the Town of Newcastle during
the pleasure of Council.
2. That JAN DEVANTIER shall be paid for his services such
sum annually in accordance with the terms and conditions
as set out in Schedule "A" attached hereto.

SCHEDULE "A II TO BY - LAW 85 --$"?
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF APPOINTMENT OF JAN DEVANTIER,
DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY SERVICES
The following are the terms and conditions of the employment of
Jan Devantier as Director of Community Services, Town of Newcastle,
namely:
1. Effective May 6th 1985, Mr. Jan Devantier shall commence
his employment with the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
as Director of Community Services.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Director of Community
Services are those established by the job description, as may
be amended from time to time.
3. Mr. Jan Devantier shall be remunerated in accordance with the
Town's policy in respect of the compensation for non-affiliated
staff and more specifically shall be paid from May 6th 1985
at Salary Grade 14, Step 5.
4. Mr. Jan Devantier shall be entitled to all other employee
benefits enjoyed by all other non-affiliated staff as may be
determined from time to time.
