THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 85- 19
being a By-law to authorize the entering into of an Agreement with
the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle and Mutt Enterprises Limited
and Tarshead Construction Limited.
The Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle hereby enacts
as follows:
1. THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to execute on
behalf of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle, and seal with the
Corporation's seal, a Development Agreement between Mutt Enterprises
Limited and Tarshead Construction Limited and the said Corporation
dated the

2. THAT Schedule "X" attached hereto forms part of this

THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY -LAW 85- 20
being a by-law to stop-up and close and to
authorize the sale of all of the open Lambert
Street, between Queen Street and Prince
Street, in the former Town of Bowmanville,
now in the Town of Newcastle, designated as
Part 2 on Reference Plan 10R-1858
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems it
desireable to pass this by-law;
AND WHEREAS notice of intention of the Council of the Corporation of the Town
of Newcastle to pass the said by-law in accordance with the requirements of
Section 301, Chapter 302, of The Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, was published in
the Canadian Statesman on January 16th, January 23rd, January 30th, and
February 6th 1985;

AND WHEREAS notice of the intention of the Council to pass this by-law was sent
by registered mail to the Regional Municipality of Durham on the 2nd day of
January 1985, and the Regional Municipality of Durham granted approval to
the proposed by-law by letter dated the 15th day of January 1985.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT ENACTED AND IT IS HEREBY ENACTED AS A BY-LAW OF THE
CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE AS FOLLOWS:
1.
ALL of the open Lambert Street Road Allowance lying between Queen
Street and Prince Street, in the former Town of Bowmanville, now in
the Town of Newcastle, hereinafter described, is hereby stopped-up
and closed:

ALL AND SINGULAR that certain parcel or tract
of land and premises, lying and being in the Town
of Newcastle, in the Regional Municipality of
Durham, Province of Ontario, and being composed
of that portion of opened Lambert Street, between
Queen Street and Prince Street. in the former Town
of Bowmanville, more particularly designated as
Part Two (2) on Plan 10R-1858, deposited in the
Land Registry Office for the Registry Division of
Newcastle (No. 10), on July 10th 1984.
2.
ALL that portion of the open road allowance hereinbefore described
shall be conveyed by the Corpo,r;ation of the Town of Newcastle to
abutting owners.
By-law read a first and second time this 25th day of February 1985.
By-law read a third time and finally passed this 25th day of February 1985.
