BY -LAW 82- 186
being a by-law to appoint the Chief Building
Offici a 1
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Mr. H. Wight is hereby re-appointed Chief Building
Official;
2. That said appointment shall be in accordance with the terms
and conditions as set out in Schedule IIA" attached hereto;
3. That Mr. H. Wight shall be paid for his services at the
rate appropriate for Step 5 of Salary Grade 13 of the
salary scale established for non-union employees.

Terms and Conditions of Appointment of Mr. H. Wight
1. Effective October 1,1982, Mr. H. Wight shall be re-appointed
to the position of Chief Building Official of the Town of Newcastle.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Chief Building Official
are those set out in Schedule "A" to By-Law
3. Mr. H. Wight shall be remunerated in accordance with the
Town's policy in respect of the compensation for non~union
staff and more specifically shall be paid~ from October 1,1982
at Salary Grade 13, Step 5~ in recognition of his past employment.
4. Mr. H. Wight shall be entitled to all other non-union
employee benefits as may be determined from time to time.
