THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW 82 - 173
being a by-law to appoint the Deputy Director
of Community Services
The Municipal Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle
HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That Mr. J. Caruana is hereby appointed IIDeputy Director
of Community Services";
2. That said appointment shall be in accordance with the terms
and conditions as set out in Schedule IIA" attached hereto;
3. That Mr. J.Caruana shall be paid for his services at the
rate appropriate for Step 5 of Salary Grade 11 of the
salary scale established for non-union employees.
By-Law read a first time this 20th day of Dec. 1982.
By-Law read a second time this 20th day of Dec. 1982.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 20th
day of December 1982.

Schedule "A" toBy-Law 82 -173
Terms and ConditionS of Appointment of Mr. J. Caruana
1. Effective immediately, Mr. J. Caruana shall be re-appointed
to the position of Deputy Director of Community Services
of the Town of Newcastle.
2. The duties and responsibilities of the Deputy Director of
Community Services are those set out in Schedule "A" to
By-law 82 - 172.
3. Mr. J. Caruana shall be remunerated in accordance with the
Town's policy in respect of the compensation for non~union
staff and more specifjcally shall be paid, from November 1
1982 at Salary Grade 11, Step 5.
4. Mr. J. Caruana shall be entitled to all other non-union
employee benefits as may be determined from time to time.
