THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NUMBER 82- 106
being a By-law to amend By-law Number 76-25, as amended, of the
Corporation of the Town of Newcastle.
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Newcastle deems
it advisable to amend By-law 76-25, as amended, of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. Section 4 of By-law 76-25, as amended, of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle is hereby further amended by deleting
subsection (6)(a) in its entirety, and by adding the following
subsection (6)(a):
"(a) SETBACK FROM STREET LINE
No sign, other than a wall sign or a window sign, shall be
located within a sight triangle or encroach upon any road
allowance or abutti ng lot. II
2. Section 4 of By-law 76-25, as amended, of the Corporation of
the Town of Newcastle is hereby further amended by deleting from
subection (6)(b) the following:
", then the sai d di stance of 10 feet shall be measured from
the new street 11 ne and".
3. This By-law shall come into effect on the date of the final
passing hereof.
