THE CORPORATION OF THE
TOWN OF NEWCASTLE
BY-LAW NO. 74-66
being a By-law to distribute the School
Trustees in Wards.
WHEREAS the County Council of the County of Northumberland
has by motion dated August 1, 1974, advised the Council of the Town
of Newcastle that the School Trustees for the Town are allocated
as follows:

AND WHEREAS Subsection 19 of Section 38 of the Secondary
Schools and Boards of Education Act (R.S.O. 1970, Chapter 425)
provides that the Council of a Municipality may divide the
Municipality into two or more areas and provide for the election
of one or more members by the Public School electors in each of
such areas
THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Town of
Newcastle enacts as follows:
1. That the Trustees of the Northumberland and Newcastle Board
of Education shall be elected as follows:
Ward 1
Ward 2
Ward 3
