THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW 2007-126
Being a By-law to amend By-law 2007-032, being a by-law
to appoint Members to the Clarington Museums and Archives Board
WHEREAS in accordance with Section 58 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.MA5,
as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington passed
By-law 2002-045 on April 29, 2002 to establish a Board of Management to operate
museums on its behalf, referred to as the Clarington Museum Board
AND WHEREAS at a meeting held on January 19, 2004, the Council of the
Corporation of the Municipality of Clarington adopted the recommendations contained
in Report CLD-02-04
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. THAT Bill Tanner (Ward 1) is hereby appointed as a Member of the Clarington
Museums and Archives Board for a term concurrent with the term of the
appointing Councilor until a successor is appointed.
2. THAT John Witheridge (Replacement forWard 4) is hereby appointed as a
Member of the Clarington Museums and Archives Board for a term concurrent
with the term of the appointing Councilor until a successor is appointed.
By-Law read a first and second time this 11th day of June, 2007.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 11 th day of June, 2007.
