THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON
BY-LAW NO. 2007 - 028
Being a By-law to appoint Fence Viewers for the
Municipality of Clarington and to repeal By-law 2004-016
WHEREAS Section 2 of the Line Fences Act Chapter L.17, R.S.O., 1990,
provides that the Council of every local municipality shall appoint, by by-law,
such number of Fence Viewers as are required to carry out the provisions of the
Act and the by-law shall fix the per diem remuneration to be paid to the Fence
Viewers;
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE
MUNICIPALITY OF CLARINGTON HEREBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1 THAT the following persons are hereby appointed as Fence Viewers for
the Municipality of Clarington for a term concurrent with the term of the
appointing Council or until a successor is appointed:
John M. Bate
Barry A. James
Milt Robinson
Glenn A. Smith
2. THAT the remuneration of the Fence Viewers be set in accordance with
the budget allocations approved by Council for this purpose.
3. THAT By-law 2004-016 is hereby repealed.
BY-LAW read a first time this 29th day of January 2007.
BY-LAW read a second time this 29th day of January 2007.
BY-LAW read a third time and finally passed this 29th day of January 2007.
