THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF ClARINGTON
BY-lAW NUMBER 2006-216
being a by-law to establish Members of Council as Chair
of Departments and to repeal By-law 2003-178
THE COUNCil OF THE CORPORATION OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF
ClARINGTON ENACTS AS FOllOWS:
1. THAT the following members of Council of the Municipality of Clarington
be designated as the Chair of Departments as follows:
(a) Administration - Jim Abernethy
(b) Clerk's Department - Ron Hooper
(c) Community Services Department - Gord Robinson
(d) Corporate Services Department - Jim Abernethy
(e) Emergency Services Department - Willie Woo
(f) Engineering Department - Adrian Foster
(g) Finance Department - Jim Abernethy
(h) Operations Department - Charlie Trim
(i) Planning Services Department - Mary Novak
2. THAT Jim Abernethy act as Vice-Chair of each Department and chair
that portion of the General Purpose and Administration Committee
Meeting in the absence of the Chair;
3. THAT By-law 2003-178 is hereby repealed; and
4. THAT this by-law take effect immediately on passing thereof.
By-law read a first and second time this 18th day of December 2006.
By-Law read a third time and finally passed this 18th day of December 2006.
