THAT the minutes of a Special Cbuncil meeting held February 13
1981 be approved as read.

Mr. Kenneth Jackson, Mill Street, Orono appeared before Cbuncil
regarding parking in Orono. Mr. Jackson indicated that he had
no driveway at his residence and that it is difficult to park
in the restricted area close to his hotre. He stated that
three other residents had the sanE problem. He requested
that part of Mill street be designated a parking area.

Mr. Couch, Orono, to be heard.

Mr. Couch addressed Council and indicated that his 0011
in Orono had been de-watered because of the Town gravel
pit being looored by six feet. He said that he had no
problem before September 10 1980.

THAT the letter dated February 13 1981 from the Newcastle
Hydro Electric Corrrnission be received and that their
reoolution #181-81 be approved as follows:
The Corrrnissioner's annual rerruneration is an amJunt
paid to attend regular scheduled Corrrnission meeting
to deal with normal decisions.
A special per diem allowance of $40.00 is paid for
all other meetings and special functions for which
Corrrnissioners must attend.
Mileage is to be paid at a rate of .23<; per mile
and a copy of this reoolution to be sent to the
Town Clerk.

By-Law 81-26 being a by-law to axrend By-Law 79-45 being a
by-law to provide for the payment of an expense allowance
to the Mayor and Members of Cbuncil.
By-Law 81-27 being a by-law to raise rroney to aid in the
construction of drainage =rks under The Tile Drainage
Act 1971.
By-Law 81-28 being a by-law to establish an Administrative
Improvement Fund.
